      Trail Ready Meticulously Hand-Crafted Tool

The knife is truly a masterpiece. The blade is a "beefy" chunk of steel with a crisp 90 degree spine. The edge is hair-splitting sharp right out of the box. The curly maple scales are aesthetic and grippy. Just the right amount of texture for a firm grip, yet still smooth. Definitely an advocate for satin. Dirty by Design is an interesting concept, but I question whether the pitting promotes corrosion and makes it more difficult to clean. Definitely a good look though, but I still prefer satin for ease of maintenance. The knife just feels good in the hand. I was unable to get the sheath I wanted with the knife. But can order later. Rugged and solid design that will ultimately find its way into the hands of future generations as well. Thank you for your attention to detail and craftsmanship. PKS definitely takes bushcraft knives to a whole new level!!!
