Survive on the water’s edge with Primitive and Improvised trapping and fishing techniques. Use small modern traps and terminal tackle for efficient trapping and fishing. Explore foraging and Plant Medicine for additional resources.

Limit to 12 Students

Description: 

  • Primitive and Improvised trapping
  • Primitive and Improvised fishing 
  • Small modern traps for water’s edge trapping
  • Terminal Tackle for small fishing kits
  • Limb lines
  • Trot lines
  • Bank lines
  • Foraging and Plant Medicine along the water’s edge 

Students will be expected to be able to walk up to 5 miles on Day 2 to explore the neighboring wildlife area.

Due to property insurance restrictions: There will be NO camping on the school property prior to the start of the class or after the class concludes. 

     Disclaimer:
    Please make sure you take all gear with you at the end of the class. If gear is left behind, we will not be able to ship it to you, and will be considered abandoned. Minimum age 16 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult student registered for this class.
