Navigation Intensive
This class was designed to give emphasis on one of the most important and overlooked Woodsman’s skills Navigation (Pathfinding).
We will begin by diving into Primitive Navigation Techniques, to include Shadow Board Navigation work through modern Map use and Route planning, then move on to Self-mapping of an entire grid square for actual real-time information. Learning how not to get lost should be one of the highest priorities on your list of skills to own.
We will Navigate over variable terrain daily in this class so being able to walk comfortably for 2-6 miles a day should be considered important before attending this course.
