*IMPORTANT: Break in your waxed canvas prior to the initial cinch of the cord. You can simply break it down by hand by kneading the canvas around the edge and crumpling the bag with your hands to make it more pliable. Cinch the cord progressively through multiple attempts of starting and starting over, until the cord cinches completely. Your bag is now ready for the field!

I have not used it yet but seems like high quality stuff . I want to load it up and go camping with it.
this is a smart and efficient way to store dry goods in the camping gear. it helps with - "oh, I forgot to bring..." I bought a 2nd one, now I know I have a store of coffee, pancake mix for (3) meals, sugar, brown sugar, rice, beans, pasta, etc. - I have a cornbread mix in one. it helps with - "oh, I forgot to bring..." AND more times than I can count, it has saved me a trip to the store to buy coffee or pancake mix - when we are not camping. Pathfinder french press fits in the bag with coffee and sugar too.
Got the grub bag and it works. It also looks pretty nifty. The metal food tins fit perfectly and I also had room for my 48 oz cup/pot and filled that with several smaller food tins so there is no wasted space. Food storage containers from top to bottom filled with eats. The bag is tough enough to withstand various backcountry trials and travails. Can't ask for much more than that except for finding a bottle of tequila under a fallen tree trunk by accident!
