When the SRO Pace Lanyard arrived, I set out some knives so I could peruse and finally determine a resting place for it. I finally decided on the Victorinox Ranger Grip 78. It works perfectly there as the Ranger has multiple options and the Pace is not overly lenthly. The Pace Lanyard is made with rubber beads which will not break or shatter in the cold and rest tightly on the paracord till physically moved to show distance covered. The little clip Dave provided perfectly attaches to a ring attached to the Victorinox and can be removed instantly to attach to a shirt button hole or a pack strap. It is well worth the price.
This is a great tool to have when hiking, camping, etc. The lanyard itself is sturdy and doesn't look like it'll fall apart. Great price, quick delivery, two thumbs up!
The pace lanyard is a great tool. I have it attached to the lockblade swiss army knife I have carried for 20 years. Perfect size and almost indestructible.
The attachment clip makes it easy to add to the d-ring on the small pack I keep in truck should I need to set out on foot.
