Kept Me Dry

A poncho kept me dry in a major downpour. They also had good ventilation, so that I did not overheat. The only drawback that I saw was that the wooden toggles slipped out of the canvas loops without provocation. I also have no idea what the canvas strings on the chest & the back of the hood are for.

Great design

I work outside for a living. Normal ponchos make me sweat to the point that I'm soaked either way. So i don't use them. I thought I'd give this one a try. I tie it around back like a hospital gown but leave the front loose. I get rain protection plus air flow. I work alone so i haven't shown it off yet. But come hunting season I'll pack it with my kit.
