Tarred Twisted Nylon Twine - 1 lb. spool contains approximately 1,580 linear feet with a 106 lb. breaking strength. This twine is especially black treated and dried before it's put on a reusable plastic spool. It has many advantages over twine treated by "spool dunking." It is uniformly and deeply coated from one end to the other - no "zebra stripes" or tar globs to come off on your hands. It's dry, easy-to-tie, and holds knots well.

Use this at base camp where 36 bank line is to thick. Love how it doesn't slip. Over 1000ft in 1lb. spool. Love this stuff.

Superior cordage

description is 100 percent. You can't find this stuff anywhere else. the No. 12 line is, though it is thin, has incredible strength. you can not break it buy pulling on it. It is very rot resistant. I've left items that were built with this in the woods for 6 years, and it still looks new! super excellent for lashing! This cord is top notch, I highly recommend it. Thank you Dave!
