I really like this period correct piece

I enjoy fur trade era history and mountain man reenactment. Camping with mid 1800s gear is great fun this fire kit fits right in.

Have not used it yet.

Quality seems good and the point of the purchase was to have something to take out with the grandkids and show the nostalgia of the early frontiersmen.

Great fire set

This Hudson Bay fire kit is great I started fires with the flint and steel and by using the magnifying glass and charcloth works great. Definitely a good buy.
