This backpack allows the heaviest loads to be carried, but shoulder bag gives faster access to the contents, while belt rig sort-of combines them both. For long hikes over uneven terrain, belt-carry is the wisest solution. It does not distort the body thermal regulation, spreads the load evenly, saving backbone, and all items are within quick reach. The Foxtrot Mk2 Belt Rig can be worn as a stand-alone item or be worn with functional suspenders. The design is easily adjustable in all ranges. The Foxtrot comprises the main compartment with open-top sewn water bottle pockets, a partial belt at sides with MOLLE/PALS attachment points for modular pouches (med kit, knife pouch, cargo pouch etc.). ALICE and other 50-mm ribbon tapes based pouches can be attached. The main compartment comprises two zippered pockets with a velcro-closed one on the front. Additional Versatile Insert System-compatible inserts can be added within the main compartment. Rolled poncho or thin seating mat can be held under the top-of-the-pocket rubber band – or under the compression ribbons at the bottom. Suspenders are easily-adjustable with velcro at the back, they stabilize the load and spread the loads all over the wearer’s frame. Foxtrot Mk2 is an ideal solution for Nordic Walking-style hikes.

Nice
Awesome pack
See my review on your website Johnny b” this is my second one!!
It's well-thought out, built daggone bomb-proof. The stitching is tight, clean, and straight. The adjustments leave plenty of room to grow from overshirt weather to multiple layers of winter clothes.
My title says "Damn near perfect", ok, so what's 'wrong' with it?
Only two things, and they are easily explained away.
First of all, I wish the main body was just *a little bit* bigger, a step closer to the old G.I. buttpack size. But, the measurements were clearly stated, I knew it wasn't as big so meh, what's the old saying about wishing and hands?...
Secondly, the shoulder straps.
Some padding would be nice. The straps are a decent width, the weight will be distributed fine. But a little padding would be nice. Then, you remember *this isn't Load Bearing Equipment* necessarily. The straps in this particular piece of gear are more 'stabilizing', whereas that old 782 gear was hanging a lot of heavy on ya.
This is toting around a minimal 10 C's loadout for a (presumably) easy day (or two) trek around kind.
All that said, it's built and assembled like 782 gear, with the *major* difference being that you'll probably have a more enjoyable time humpin this.
Great piece, I look forward to getting much service out of it.
This is my new go to for day scouting and in my stand holds everything for a day of hunting or hiking well made but needs to have Velcro straps to secure all loose straps not just the ones on the bottom of the pack but it’s still a 5 star setup
