Very good quality paper and full of informations,
Very comfortable, little, light.
Suggested!
I took the edible and Medicinal plant class last weekend at the Pathfinder School in Ohio.
There were students from Nebraska, Pennsylvania, New York and Louisiana in attendance.
The instructor’s ( Kevin Baxter ) knowledge is encyclopedic while his teaching style is an Everyman approach.
Any season of the year is a good time to take this course since the plants are at different stages of growth.
Check out Salty Dog Outdoors for more info on Kevin Baxter and plants😃
I really enjoyed this class. Very well presented with a lot of great information. I knew a little about some of the plants that were covered but I learned so much more. Learning about the medicinal aspects of the plants was something I've wanted to explore. Making a Salve and Tincture and how they are prepared was interesting and added to the hands-on learning. The instructor, Kevin Baxter, is a great instructor. He answered everyone's questions and passed along lots of great information. An added bonus was going on a hike with Dave where he showed us different mushrooms and where and how to locate them. I highly recommend this class, if you have the chance sign up!
I just finished the edible and medicinal plants class yesterday. Kevin Baxter does an excellent job of breaking the lessons in two so you can focus deeper to absorb more knowledge. He is very knowledgeable and excellent in explaining your questions in common man terms.
We learned the different types of ways to make medicines and he made it easy to understand to the point you will actually want to do them on your own.
Dave stopped in on day two for a couple mile walk through the woods to add some mushroom identification and environmental identifiers when looking for them.
All in all well worth your investment in your plant skillsets.
I highly recommend this class.
