Practical and thorough

I consider myself well beyond "101" skills...but I was humbled by how much I learned from this simple, yet thorough volume. With so many great vids and other resources, I was reluctant to purchase this book. Now I only wished I'd gotten the box set, which ultimately I will definitely do.

A Great Book!

I am really enjoying this survival book. It needs to be the textbook for survivalists and bushcrafters. I am going to absorb and apply what Dave Canterbury teaches in it. I am going to soon order the Advanced Bushcraft book as well.

Best way to start you Bush Crafting journey!!

I have been reading this book since I received it a few weeks ago. I am happy to say I can't put the book down. The amount of insight and knowledge that I keep finding is absolutely awesome. I am in no way a survivalist, but this book is helpful in so many different ways. The common knowledge and "how to" information are priceless on there own. Once I finish this book, my hope is to practice these lessons and maybe even sign up for the basic survival course. Great book!! Looking forward to reading the Advanced book as well.

Thanks,
Craig Cooper
