Perfect Needle

I am new to net making but it’s obvious that the needle is perfect, it’s impossible for the material to fall off the needle because of its unique design

7 inch hard plastic net needle

The 7 in. net needle measures 7 1/8 in. long x 7/8 in. wide x 3/4 in. wide. Weight of needle is 27g or .95oz. It has a 1/4 in. hole on one end to tie off the cordage. I will probably drill a 1/8 in. hole for tie off. The pointed end is nice and sharp and comes together at the point very nicely. You can feel the seam of the mold on the plastic but that helps with giving the needle some grip or else it would be slippery if your hands sweat a lot. I have not used it yet but I will be coiling #12 bank line cordage onto the needle. The #12 bank line is small so it will hold more cordage and is strong enough for a fish net or other projects. It should hold enough cordage to make a small net without having to bring an extra coil of cordage. The plastic needle feels/looks sturdy and is made of 1/8 in. thick of plastic. With this needle you should be able to make a net with about 1 3/4 in. net holes maybe smaller so that fish do not escape the net. To make a utility net, this needle is more than big enough and easy to store or carry in your pack or foot locker. I will probably purchase a second one to have as a spare with either #36 or #6 bank line coiled on it. You have room to write on the plastic the size of cordage stored on the needle. I do recommend the net needle as I have not seen others like this. The price is reasonable especially if you save up your credits from other purchases as a coupon/discount like I did.
