This cuts so much better than the "Green Thumb" bowsaw blade from the hardware store. I just built a traditional H frame bowsaw for this blade and love it.
The blade that came installed on my collapsible Boreal 21 saw cut well enough on a seasoned Bradford Pear tree branch about as big around as my arm. Made four cuts that went smoothly as soon as I got my saw stroke in sync. Use as much of the full length of the blade as possible. Make those teeth do the work, guide them straight as possible.
I used this recently in the Intermediate Pathfinder Course. It out cut all of the other blades that the other students used. I even took over a few times since the other blades took so long to cut. I still have my Bushcraft buck saw and it cuts awesome. Spend the money and get this blade.
This is my go to saw blade from now on. It is ever so slightly thicker and boy will it just chew through wood. I would highly recommend this.
