When I was little, my Dad used Gunny Sacks for anything messy or a lite bit odd. I seldom see many Gunny Sacks anymore, but that does not dismiss their function. Root vegetables travel well in my Li'l Gunny, and arrive for the better for being in there. Spuds, carrots, onions, you name it, all happy in my Li'l Gunny.
