Can’t wait to use this knife!

I am what you might call a “YOUTUBE BUSH CRAFTER”! I have watched all of the videos I can find several times and have nearly purchased an entire pack of gear...and I have never done any of this in real life! I love the out doors and have spent plenty of time camping and stuff like that but...I am definitely not an experienced bush crafter in any way.
I hope to create my own videos during my first several outings to see just how much a guy can learn from staring at his phone watching YouTube.
Any how, after watching all of the videos about this knife it seemed to be the perfect selection for me as I am trying to keep things “common man”!
Self Reliance Outfitters has become my source for every price of gear I purchase as I know (at least I feel very confident) that I can trust the products they sell.

Starts a fire with churt

I Started several fires with just my mora black a piece churt and char cloth it works very well for fine carving like feather sticks. Its an all around very good knife for the woods.

Not just the best "budget" bush knife

I've been using Mora Companions, carbon and stainless for years. When the Black came out, I initially ignored it, because it seemed too expensive. (Yet to try the Garburg or Pathfinder for the same reason) but when I finally broke a three year old companion, while abusing it, I upgraded, and I am glad to say this knife is as good as it's reputation. Over the last couple years I have integrated a hatchet and a folding saw into my lightweight backpacking system, and the mora and a folder are all I need for knives on any off or on trail hikes around WI and MI, even in winter. Glad Dave approves it for his courses. The only time I Cary another knife is a 3" skinner for small game. Not to say the Mora couldn't do it.
