How do I cancel an order?
To cancel an order please call Customer Service at 317.791.8777 Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm (Eastern Standard Time). Once an order has been processed for shipment (meaning a label has been created), it cannot be canceled. Sending an email will not guarantee it will be canceled prior to shipping.
Can I add to an order?
If your order has not started to be processed through our shipping department, you can modify the order. However, you must call Customer Service at 317.791.8777 to make modifications. Once an order has started processing through the warehouse, it cannot be modified, only canceled.

First time use! When inserting the MO1 Filter into the canteen cap, first look down into the cap. It should be shiny and all the will be showing. If so, you are Ok.
On my new cap I found injection moulding on the initial end of the threads. I could see the threads down in there but a coating was covering the first part. I took my knife and dug out the green plastic. Then I could see all the threads just like in the video. I used a pliers to dislodge the tiny plastic.
WARNING. Do not push too hard before unfouling the threads.

I've enjoyed using the canteen and M01 on my last hike through N.Georgia. Clean and very easy to use, with no plastic or chemical aftertaste. The filters arrived sealed in foil, with a expiration date of 2027. I was curious what the shelf life deterioration is estimated to be past that storage time window. I reached out to the manufacturer by email 2 weeks ago and haven't had a reply as of yet.

Having served for over 12 years I got used to using canteens as my preferred water transport. This kit is great, whether I’m filtering water from a water buffalo, hiking and finding a stream, or taking the kiddos to amusement park with questionable tasting water. As a side note I’ve found it takes about 3 times through the entire canteen before it becomes easier to squeeze. After each squeeze you should crack open the cap to let some air back in to make squeezing easier, then tighten and go back after it. I would absolutely recommend this kit for anyone who already uses canteens.
I unbox and prep the ALFA1 GI Canteen. I also check to see if the filter lid will fit my G I. Issue 1 and 2 quart canteen as well as my Nalgene Oasis Canteen. Let's go on down to the creek and get a drink.
