I have had issues finding a sufficient rock to produce enough spark. However this flint and steel put off a plenty of sparks.

Spark of life
Fresh out of the mail my grandson was intrigued. He's 11 years old ,so I took him to the woods and let him gather stuff for our birds nest.I took it out of the canister and with 3 hits had an amber. I showed him how to blow gently within seconds he was smiling like a horse eating briers. Thank you self reliance outfitters for having a way to teach my grandson and for us spending time together. It reminded me of my childhood memories with my grandfather.
