I typically do not write reviews on products that I have purchased. I buy a lot of gear for testing to see if it fits my needs for day-to-day activities and potential situations. I noticed this blanket on social media and decided to purchase one for me and one for my wife. After a couple of weeks, I got the review email. I asked my wife what she thought of the blanket before I decided to give my opinion. She states that it is comfortable, soft, and most definitely warm. She sits on the couch with the blanket with our dog at her feet. I would say that when I have been out at night with the dog, it is nice to have this to wrap around you to keep the wind off of you. Comfortable, warm, wind resistant, water resistant ( not tried this yet), potential tarp or shelter, as well as many other uses. I would say it is worth the price, and if I needed additional ones, they are on this list to purchase again. They did an excellent job on this blanket.
I've been using the Pathfinder Velmont Blanket in the house this winter and have enjoyed it a lot. It work great to cover up while watching TV and when the weather got real cold I added it to the covers on my bed. I'm looking forward to taking it camping later this year.

I’ve waited 3 years to get this. So glade I finally got the chance and pulled the trigger. Its amazing. I was REALLY surprised on how light weight it was. Solid construction as usual. Was amazed it was hand made too. I can’t wait to use it in conjunction with the new bed sleeve and wool blanket this winter

The Pathfinder Pole Shelter Kit is extremely versatile. I'm keeping mine in my main pack along with a spare set of OneTigris poles as part of my EDC. In addition to countless other applications, it makes an excellent sun shade (which I employed recently) as well as a quick deploy duck in shelter in inclement weather. The quality materials, thoughtfulness of design and ease of use are exceptional. I couldn't be happier with this kit and highly recommend it.
