Something about waxed canvas that appeals to my inner adventurer. This bag holds my skillet and has plenty of extra room for utensils and other items. Plus, it’s great to keep my skillet from banging around in transit and getting beat up.
The Pathfinder Pole Shelter Kit is extremely versatile. I'm keeping mine in my main pack along with a spare set of OneTigris poles as part of my EDC. In addition to countless other applications, it makes an excellent sun shade (which I employed recently) as well as a quick deploy duck in shelter in inclement weather. The quality materials, thoughtfulness of design and ease of use are exceptional. I couldn't be happier with this kit and highly recommend it.
I have really enjoyed using this setup. For me it is perfect for day hikes. It's very solid and easy to cook with. The D rings were genius. Yea! I have mostly used a gas (Coleman Peak 1 canister) and the cup sits solid on it. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I found Canteen Cup Tuesday on youtube and got a bunch of recipes ideas. Keep making great kits.
