Just got mine in the mail. The axe and knife are fantastic quality. They are insanely sharp and feel great in hand. The only negative I can say is the sheath construction isn’t the best. The threading that holds the axe in place came out so I will have to do some repair work. The knife takes some effort to slide into the sheath and the buckle is too short to snap around the handle. I think with some break in time the leather will loosen up and it will all work out. So you might have to make some repairs once you receive yours but over all I am happy with it.
Just got mine in the mail today and the belt axe and knife are superb, excellent fit and finish. And if the axe had a scandi grind on it I honestly wouldn’t have bought it . The convex grind really makes this axe awesome, I would recommend on PKS knives that are thicker stock like the Grizzly do a convex grind please . On a different note The sheath for the belt axe fits it perfectly but the knife will hardly fit in the sheath and when you do get it in there the snap strap won’t go around the handle and getting the knife back out is chore , no way of doing it one handed .
I do appreciate Dave C bringing these classic items back to life . Keep up the good work.
