The ripSPOOL™ is a lightweight complete field repair kit that can also be used for multiple survival and bushcraft tasks to include: first aid, fire starting, fishing, and navigation.
The ripSPOOL™ was the brainchild of Daniel at Battlbox and Rob at Exotac. We focused on creating something unique, useful, and sexy without compromise. It started out as an easy way to carry duct tape and evolved into a comprehensive field repair kit.
High-Strength Synthetic Line
Over 60 feet (18M) of 30lb test synthetic braided line to be used for re-stitching gear, creating tools or as an improvised fishing kit.
Contains:
Heavy Duty Repair Tape
The over 50in. (127cm) of repair tape can be used for patching holes, as an improvised bandage, creating bush-crafting tools or even as tinder (yes, it's flammable!)
#16 Sail Needle
The sail needle is retained by an o-ring in the line spool so it can be used as an improvised awl / thimble. Pull it out, attach thread and reinsert for sewing.
Firecord™ Lanyard
The included lanyard has an inner (red) core that can be pulled out and used as tinder. It burns like a candle wick and can be lit with any of your ferrocerium.

It's one of those things that you hope you never need to use it, but you are glad to have it in just in case you do need it. Really good idea to store repair items in a small package with limited additional space for a few small safety pins and an extra needle
Great way to carry some fix-it items.
Looks like a good plan for when something rips or tears.
Good quality product for something you don't really need.
I have learned alot over the years watching Dave Canterbury youtube videos. I feel purchasing something now and again is the best thing for me to do.
