Willow by Pathfinder Forge and Tool (PFT)
Throughout time a willow leaf blade was made from stone for all tasks relating to the processing of Game Meat, and Hides. This modern Willow leaf style blade was designed with the Hunter and Trapper in mind, it has a heavy drop angle to the blade so that when the knife is inverted for gutting tasks the point is angled away from the organ cavity making for easier control. The 4” Blade and large belly allow for chocking up on the blade for removing hides. And also make a great food processor with the index finger riding the spine.

It came sharp right out of the box. Wipe off some oil and and you're good to go.
Great design with the hunter/game processor in mind. Came right out of the box as advertised. Put a sharp edge on the blade with little effort and have now as of this week used it to process an entire North Eastern Whitetail. Definitely a blade I would highly recommend.
What a great looking traditional bushcraft knife. Feels great in my hand as I prosses wood because of the unique shape of the blade and spline of the knife. I see that someone who wrote a review did not understand why the spline of the knife was sharp on both edges as the one I purchase was. This is so you can prosses wood with out using the blade of the knife. I started a few fires already by just using the spline and it was sharp enough to process small shavings that took a spark with my Bayite Ferro Rod 1/2 diameter around 2 tries. The knife came good and sharp in which I also started a fire by making feather sticks and using my Bayite Ferro Rod (best in my opinion for the price). I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
I'd been looking for a small edc when I saw the Willow.
It's right up my alley, fills the hand, comfortable handle, sharp blade, looks good. Checks all the boxes for me. Backed up with a hatchet or tomahawk, this knife is a great tool.
Also had ordered the new belt pouch,
This is a very welcome addition to my EDC, I tend to favor a more traditional set. This again checks all boxes for me.
I bought this for hunting as is it’s designed for that. Used it to field process a mule deer. Excellent knife for the money. Sharp as could be out of the box. Yes it was covered in oil and wrapped in plastic upon arrival as are most high carbon knives. I cleaned it applied olive oil. The spine is a little rough but well worth the money. It is a field knife so I don’t expect beauty but function. Fours stars out of five from a hunter.
