Pathfinder Woodland Bugout
Date: August 14th thru 16th
Location: The Pathfinder School in Jackson, Ohio
Limited to 10 people (no free youths with the course)
Ever wonder if your chosen BUG OUT Bag will actually perform when the chips are down? Bugging out is a BUZZWORD for leaving one area that may be compromised and traveling to a presumed safe location. Many people have these so-called Bug OUT bags assembled and ready to grab at a moment’s notice during a Natural Disaster or other Catastrophic event.
In this course we will simulate a 25K movement through a wooded area, from one location to another, camping two nights in between. We will practice all the main Survival Skills needed to accomplish this movement all while attempting to remain transparent in the landscape.
This course will be both an evaluation and a learning experience as our Instructors not only evaluate the effectiveness of your personal kit and personal skill level, but we will also teach you critical skills along the way. This is the perfect course for a total look at both the gear you have chosen as well as the skills and fitness level you possess to actually get this done in a timely fashion should the need ever arise!
Any Gear you deem necessary for you 25K 3-day, 2-night Bugout (Minus Firearms and Ammunition).
Food, any you would need to sustain yourself over 2 days
Medications as necessary
All students must read, agree, and sign a Liability Waiver and Release form for the Pathfinder School LLC and the venue prior to attending the course. This can be signed brought to the course and given to staff upon arrival. No student will attend training without both forms being on file. Please note we do not share this information with anyone.
If you need to cancel..
Once you purchase a class for The Pathfinder School, the Pathfinder Gathering, or for a Self Reliance Outfitters store event, you have up to 14 days before the event or class to cancel and receive a refund. This provides us time to open the spot for someone else to purchase.
Any cancellations past that threshold will not be eligible for a refund. A cancellation due to an emergency will be handled on a case by case basis and will only be eligible for a store gift card.
If you do not show up for a class or event your registration fees are forfeited and no refunds or store credits will be issued.
If a class gets canceled...
We require a minimum of 5 to 10 students to conduct a class (depending on the class). If a class needs to be cancelled due to an insufficient number of registrations, you will be contacted by phone or email. You will then have the option to transfer to another class (if available), receive a store gift card, or a refund.
Please note: The Pathfinder School LLC is not responsible for travel expenses, airline tickets, or other accommodations if a class is cancelled.
