I have purchased many knives, most have been fancy and very costly. I use these knives for outdoor use and camping. I’ve been looking at PKS Pathfinder’s knives for a while now. I finally decided to purchase one that would handle all my camping needs. I needed a work horse. The knife isn’t fancy. BUT! This is by far one of the best knifes I have. I have $250-$300 knives that I don’t even use anymore. This knife has won me over and I’m very happy with my purchase. I’ve used it numerous times and haven’t needed to sharpen it. Feels good in my hand and can handle a work load. Now I only wish I would purchased this knife a long time ago. Great job pathfinder. My only gripe is that I wasn’t able to purchase a sheath. They were sold out. If only each knife came with its own sheath.
I haven't had it that long and it is already my go to knife if I'm just going out and I don't have any plans. Just some hiking and camping.
Great knife…very pleased with knife and the sheath.
As expected from Dave Canterbury, fantastic quality, and craftsmanship. For the money you will not find a better knife. If you are like me and like a traditional look , an old-school feel , this tool will not disappoint. Excellent is another word that comes to mind.
This knife is incredibly well made and came razor sharp out of the box. The full tang blade is very stout and the handle fits my hand perfectly; the ergonomics are really good. The shipping from SRO was fast and the packaging was very good. This knife will be in my hunting backpack every time I enter the woods or the swamp to hunt. This is my first PKS knife and it won't be my last. If you are thinking about buying one, I strongly recommend it. Great knife!
