Jon Pack Bed Sleeve

Just received the Jon Pack bed sleeve today!
Purchased it within ten minutes of getting the notification email from SRO.

Excellent craftsmanship. I set it up on a set of tripods I had made in anticipation of receiving it. Wow! So very comfortable. I can’t wait to use it in the field as a cover for an air mattress along with my Coalcracker 8x8 oilskin tarp and gum blanket.

Excellent piece of kit

I actually purchased one of these last year and was only recently able to get it into the woods. I am not a hammock camper, but I wanted something similar that is more versatile than a hammock and being 6 ft and 270 lbs, I don't like feeling cramped in a hammock.
The Jon Pack bed extremely durable, versatile and light weight (3lbs) for being canvas. It's fairly easy to setup as well using 2 tripods, although it does take a little bit of adjusting to get it just right and level. After sleeping on it, I can say that I am actually impressed on how comfortable it is. I have a video review and overnight campout posted on my YouTube channel if anyone wants to see it in action.

Worth Every Penny!

I had an outing recently and ordered 4 of these bed sleeves. They are well worth the money, yes they are! They are very well made and suffered no issues while using them. Quite frankly, with all the garbage that is marketed today I was pleasantly surprised that these actually live up to the ads SR puts out.

Because of that I’m going to try out some of the “Dirty by Design” knives that the PKS makes. I’m expecting the same quality and attention to details.

Back to the bed sleeves themselves.

They are very stable and quite comfortable. The folks that used them were all normal weight for their sizes and no one was over 200 pounds. I was able to enter and exit quite easily via the side (5’5” - 140) as well as the end. It was easier to get out the end for me (I’m close to 70 so not as limber as I once was) but not difficult to exit via the side.

A great product and I will be purchasing more of the bed sleeves in the future.
