The Firebox Nano (patent pending) is the essence of Firebox in the smallest possible form. Often referred to as, "Little Gem." This is one of the coolest backpacking stoves you've ever seen. At less than 6 ounces (4 ounces in Titanium), the Firebox Nano is only 3″ wide and folds down to a ridiculously thin .25″. With its proprietary cross-feed fuel delivery system, this little camp and hiking stove can easily bring 2 cups of water to a boil in under 5 minutes. Even with all this power, the Firebox Nano is one of the smallest wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves on the market. Like its big brother, the Folding Firebox Nano is hinged and requires absolutely no assembly.

With position points for the Nano Sticks (included) the Nano perfectly adapts to use with a Trangia Spirit Burner. Allowing a full range of Simmer Ring adjustment and three head space settings ("Sweet spot" headspace of 1" in top position). The Nano also accepts the Trangia Gas burner attachment. The Nano Sticks nest into the folded Nano in such a way that they cannot fall out. You won't find a disclaimer saying to expect any warpage because Firebox does not believe in compromising quality to save a small amount of weight. The Nano is built as light as it could be without the common warping problems of other stoves. Firebox uses thicker material than any of the competitors for a good reason, wood fires create a lot of heat!

The product is great and I use it even when I am working.
While I have used many different types of stoves over the years, I usually tend to just build a fire for cooking on most occasions. However, this Summer I find myself looking for ways around building cooking fires in camp due to the heat. This stove has been the perfect solution. I like that the Firebox Nano allows me the option of using a simple alcohol burner but at the same time also allows me to use natural materials for fuel that are widely available around camp. I have been impressed with how well this stove drafts and especially how fuel efficient it. Being that the Nano contains a small and very efficient fire makes it much more bearable to use in the Summer heat. The efficiency also prevents me from having to waste time and energy gathering large amounts of fuel. Another great feature is that this little stove folds up into it's own cotton canvas bag and easily stows away in my Pathfinder Titanium Bush Pot and yet still leaves room for other items as well. Being as it takes up no extra space in my pack, I find myself always carrying it afield and therefor using it quite often. I had no idea it would become a mainstay in my kit but for the hot seasons, I can see it being a permanent addition. Especially considering how well it functions and how convenient it is to carry and use. I would definitely recommend this to others for camp cooking and for disinfecting water by boiling in camp.
I have used other little ultralight wood stoves before but the we’re always a pain to unfold and a pain to fold back up to pack it away I love this stove
