Good Stuff!

Much easier to hand-rub, having tried other similar bees wax products. Let it warm in your hand.
Outstanding for preserving and water-proofing leather!
This is an excellent product!

Simple but effective!

Fix'n Wax has so many applications and uses I won't hit the trail without it! I found that 3/4 of a puck fits the 2 oz screw top tin perfectly making it super easy to keep in your pack, haversack or belt pouch. I just used a heat gun to melt the wax into the tin. Easy peasy, lemon squeezie!

Nice weather protection for my axes and high carbon knives.

I was just about to check out with another order and realized I wanted another cake of this wax. I cut up my first cake and nearly all of it fit in the 2 oz. can sold here. I'm planning on melting this one down and pouring it into a second 2 oz. can, I'm pretty sure it'll all fit that way. I cut the included paper wrapper to fit the can lid, and use it as a leak barrier in case the wax melts in the heat. Add a few 1/4" strips of grip tape to the can and lid and I can carry my wax into the field without getting it all over my gear. I'm anxious to try this as an accelerant as well.

fix n wax

I bought some of this because I was buying some other kit and I figured I'd get some seeings I was there. Since then I divided the "cupcake" size piece you get into 2 screwtop aluminium tins. It's one of those things like gorilla tape, it has a multitude of uses. I think that I'll try and figure out the percentages of ingredients to make my own next time though. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Backwoods beard balm?

I usually don’t make a fuss about things. However, after waking up on the final morning of a 6 day jaunt in the woods, the ol’ beard was looking pretty rough. I had just cleaned my Mountain Lion knife anyway and treated it with some Fix’n wax, so my hands were covered in this amazing stuff anyway.
So I dug out my Pathfinder skillet lid to use as a mirror and went to town on the whiskers.
Talk about taming the jungle! As others have noted, a little on the lips doesn’t hurt either.
Just trying to “smooth it” in the woods every now and again as suggested by Dave.
I’m constantly impressed, but not surprised, at the quality of kit found on this site.
