Basket Weaving - Master Class
Basketry is a traditional hand-crafted skill that has roots in various cultures throughout history. In this class students will walk away with a small basket that they make over a 2-hour period. There will be a discussion on how to make these containers off the landscape, how different environments aid in different constructions, and how they can be converted to hold water or trap certain game. All baskets are handmade, and the process of weaving can be applied to both large and small structures and is a skill that compliments everyday life and well-being.
