Sturdy, heavy duty metal traps. Will see double duty in the field as well as at home trapping neighbors vermin feeding and traveling our perimeter fence!
Added a few more to my stash. I know they kill big field rats. Also work for field mice.
I thought to get these rat traps to deal with feral cats in my neighborhood just to scare them and drive them off, they are way too strong for just scaring things they would very much injure the cat but they will work very well for trapping for food in SHTF type situation or making chipmunk stew while camping.
These traps are stout. They also get set off by just brushing them with a piece of paper. Should have no problem with squirrels or birds or other edible critters. Got some last year and was soo impressed that I got some more this year and if they're still for sale, I'll get some next year just to insure that I won't go hungry.

Think about this. Bolt cutters to cut chainlink fence that borders the Interstate if your trapped,someone detroyes a a bridge and you have a 4-wheel drive truck and you need to get home. I'm 81 yrs. old , retired Locomotive Engr. for CSX And taught Boy Scouts as a Scoutmaster for 4 yrs. I hold FFl license and a CCP. I'm in good shape and think out of box.
